Paramedical Examiner Certification Course
Prerequisite: Students must be phlebotomists or medical assistants to enroll in this course.
This is a one-on-one, six-hour course where students will be properly trained to conduct medical examinations for life, health, and disability insurance applicants in the patient’s home or workplace.
Course topics include:
Collecting blood specimens
Collecting urine specimens
Performing EKGs
Obtaining vital signs
Recording detailed medical histories
Performing hands-on clinical assessments
Completing a skills check-off
